Fans of Red Dead Online have banded together in an attempt to save the dying title, creating a petition that has reached over 350 signatures in a matter of hours. Red Dead Online was deemed "dead" after Rockstar Games announced it would no longer be updating the title back in 2022. While there are still plenty of hardcore fans who play the game to this day, those who enjoy what the title has to offer feel "abandoned" and wish Rockstar would come back to RDO and give them the they long for.

The "#savereddeadonline" petition was created yesterday by Change.org Missrissax Tiktok, and it seems to have already weighed on the hearts of RDO fans as there are 364 signatures at the time of writing. Explaining the petition, the writes:

"Unfortunately, the game has seen no significant updates nor new content in the last three years, leaving its dedicated fanbase feeling overlooked and dissatisfied. The community yearns for the resumption of weekly updates, enhancing player engagement with fresh content, increasing the diversity and complexity of in-game challenges, and strengthening the game's overall experience."

Though the Red Dead Online petition is quite new, the response to it thus far has been overwhelming. Taking a look at the comments on the petition, it's very clear that fans have a deep love for the title and want nothing more than a little from Rockstar. Commenter Elizabeth states, "RDO has been a huge part of my life since it's [sic] release. Played everyday [sic], made content and enjoyed the beauty of this game. It deserves more TLC from the creators."
