Okay, I'll say it: I enjoyed it. Not fav movie ever, but it entertained me. Sure, it derives ideas from other moves, so what? As Hugh Grant's character says in Heretic: "iterations of iterations". Folks need to movies are made to entertain. Stop getting triggered by popcorn movies. If you don't like them, don't watch them.

Sorry, are you referring to the 1985 Fright Night or the 2011 remake? You mention both and don't really give any evidence that they steal from Salem's Lot, other than mentioning that it's a movie about vampires? That's not really evidence; stating that one vampire movie stole from another vampire movie just because they're both about vampires doesn't really count as evidence.
