See All6 Things From Game Of Thrones' Ending I'm Confident GRRM Will Include In The Winds Of Winter & A Dream Of Spring

Sorry, I am not sure at all if I was able to figure out how to respond directly to your response to my earlier post in the same thread.
Anyways...
Touchè on the Jon Snow being described in the books as having Brown hair. Just had to look that up haha.
Although they do say he has "Dark Brown" hair not "medium brown" haha but it definitely says "brown".
Honestly though, "Dark brown" hair is just a fancy way of saying "black" hair, right? Haha jk
I'm not sure though how the timing wouldn't work out, as you mentioned?
I was thinking that Lyanna was with Ned in the North, Stormland, and allies' camps while they were fighting the Mad King, and I guess I was theorizing that it could be that after Ned and Robert decided to their families with a marriage between Lyanna and Robert, Robert got drunk and frisky and forced himself on Lyanna. After which she immediately rode off to find Rhaegar.
I can't how long she had been missing (from Ned and Robert's perspective) but it seems to me like it could fit the timeline, roughly. Granted I could be forgetting some specific details. My last reading of the books was almost 10 years ago now. haha.
Thanks for the response. I'm always happy to nerd out on GoT theories :)
I think I am well past due for yet another read through of the series though, especially if I'm going to be posting dumb theories like this in a public forum haha
Cheers
6 Things From Game Of Thrones' Ending I'm Confident GRRM Will Include In The Winds Of Winter & A Dream Of Spring
I'm hoping GRRM will make Jon Snow's parentage more complicated. I think it will come to light that Lyanna Stark was "r-worded" by a drunk, war-raged Robert Baratheon during he and Ned Starks' rebellion. Which led to her running off to find the man she loved, Rhaegar Targaryen, who chooses to marry Lyanna quickly and secretely so that her child would be considered legitimate.
My reasoning for this theory comes from Book 1, and the genetics-based discovery by Jon Arryn that sparks the whole 7 Kingdoms civil war taking place throughout the whole story.
Two families in the 7 Kingdoms have a "strong seed," the Targaryens and the Baratheons. Targaryens, always, silver of hair. Baratheons, always, black of hair.
Jon Snow... black of hair. His brothers and sisters all brown or red haired.
This would also mean that a relationship or marriage between Jon Snow and Danearys could take place without them crossing that line of partaking in gross inter-family bedtime activities like Jamie and Cersei.
And I think in the end, in order to remove any conflicts of interest between the current and future Kings and Queens of Westeros of who is the one in charge, it will end with a compromise.
the 6 southern Kingdoms will be ruled by The Queen (Danaerys) and The King (Jon Snow) becoming the ruler/King of the North, which will expand to include all of the lands north of the wall, and with this title the King's (Jon's) duties/role will also include being the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch.
This is just my theory, but I'm hoping GRRM will be able to come up with some more satisfying conclusions for this amazing and epic story of his because HBO failed us all with how they ended it.
