See AllNow That Marvel's $61M Box Office Bomb Is A Hit On Netflix, I'm Convinced There's A Perfect Way For The Hero To Return In The MCU
Years of comic book stories to build from to make a decent story but Hollywood is unable to because the studio thinks they can improve it. Then they wonder why it bombs. Kraven is a sadist at heart who hunts for the literal sport of it. His hunt is typically Spider-Man because he makes for a worthy hunt. He is not an anti-hero, he is not just a villain, he is a supervillain. If you want to make a comic book movie that doesn't bomb, then read the comics, understand the characters, be true to the characters, and then write the stories. You don't have to copy a comic book issue; just stay true to the villain's true motivations. Also, it would be weird, but you have the entirety of the Marvel villains to drop in Spidey's backyard. Give us a movie where everyone is true to their motivations; it doesn't have to be a 150 million dollar budget either. Just good storytelling. Hollywood could develop all-new superheroes and then could do whatever they wanted. Instead, they are picking characters that have 30-50 years of history and saying I like this character but we are going to make him different. Yes, they are fictional characters but they have a backstory, but if you are going to make a movie with said character, for me as the audience, then I need to like how you used that character. Like Kraven, the only thing about that character that matched the comics was his name and kind of appearance. Madame Web, nothing about that character matched the comics.

I have never heard about this movie before now. I would have given it a chance because I like both actors.
