Dexter dipped in quality in the last 2 episodes of the last season, the strain was fantastic and Lost was always garbage. Heroes had a good first season, but with the writers strike it sadly could not keep it up after that. The rest of the shows on this list I wouldn't go near unless someone paid me to watch them.

It's a movie based on a fantastical comic book that is based on a movie that is based on real events. The characters portrayed were actual people in history, Xerxes, Artemisia, Darius, Themistokles, Leonidas. But it is an exaggeration made for entertainment, not a history lesson. We were thoroughly entertained. It was a win.
