Interesting read... I'm not buying it. The new Jason lost all of his scary cred when they showed him rooting around like a raccoon. If they were going for feral, it didn't work. Also, the car scene with Jared P. escaping Jason's clutches in an offscreen scuffle was so tired. There was nothing unexpected in the film. It was rote and charmless with a villain that felt scattered and feckless. It deserves our scorn.
