When they are the FBI and have literally gone coast to coast, doesn't make sense to spin off in that way... that was the beauty of the X-Files, they went investigating at their own pace and whereever the cases took them. It wasn't just 1 area. If they do a reboot, they need to have new agents re-opening the division; not a Dick Wolf branch of it.
