From watching most of the top 500 rated anime on MAL and wanting another SAO or Log Horizon I stumbled upon .hack//Sign. It is one of the most boring animes I have watched and the main character has no back bone and does nothing but complain and entire first couple of episodes. I gave up watching it afterwards.
