10 is likely too much but I do think 7 or 8 is the sweet spot based on the major arcs of the comics. Major spoilers below:

1 is Omni-Man + Invincible's origin and conflict with his dad

2 is Angstrom Levy + the fear of becoming his father

3 is Invincible War and Conquest + morality vs pragmatism with Cecil

4 is Viltrumite War and Thragg + the fallout of conflict and peace

5 is Alan/Oliver + Mark's crusade to rehabilitate his enemies + The loss of his powers

6 is Dinosaurus + Death of Everyone + Robot's betrayal and the exile to Telescria

7 is the Guardians/Viltrumite Civil War + the challenges of early parenthood (culminating in Reboot)

8 is the End of All Things + Mark's legacy as a superhero + 500 Years Later
