Andor season 1 was the first time it felt like Star Wars doing a decent story that just happened to be in the SW universe, instead of fan service references or more childish IP creation. Exciting to see them close the loop back to the movie.

I agree with the reasoning that Helly R reminds Mark S that she's Helena Eagan, so he knows the Eagan family won't let her escape or otherwise be free with him. But I also thought keeping this line loose gave it more meaning. You could read "I'm her" as Helly identifying with Gemma to remind Mark of what's right, as Gemma is also trapped in Lumon's system and it's morally right to free her.

Disappointing, source material is meant to be good but this is getting universally panned. I'm torn between watching it as a popcorn movie, or finding the source art book instead in case the movie ruins it for me.
