I don’t think that really matters. I watch movies with old teenagers often. My family and I often joke about this an almost 30 year old ( and often they are 30 for real) playing a 17 or 18 year old. The actors, Jackson and Potts don’t look that old. I honestly would not even have known if this article hadn’t pointed it out. It was a great movie with superb acting. No nitpicking necessary.

I actually like Bel Air a lot. Being an older person, I was not happy that they made Carlton a drug addict. I do realize, however, that this is the reality of the world we live in today. I do enjoy the intelligent characters. I especially like Jeffery and the dimension the character brings to the role. It’s great to see a Black family that is not stereotypical on a tv screen.

I am enjoying the reboot. I like the reimagining of the family. Especially the characters Hilary and Jazz. I wish they hadn’t made Carlton a drug addict though. However it is good that he is coping with his addiction and improving. I like Jeffrey’s character where it pertains to the Banks family. Hopefully his British criminal past will not continue to haunt him.
