See AllAfter 45 Years, DC Is Officially Destroying an Iconic Piece of Batman Lore
I've long abandoned the gaudy circus of mainstream comics, which have become little more than a hollow echo of their former selves. Today's creators seem adrift, mindlessly churning out content devoid of the depth and understanding that once made these characters relatable and timeless.
The essence of what made them resonate with readers has been forsaken in favor of shallow spectacle. For me, it's the indie scene and non-superhero comics that truly represent what's great about the industry. These works break free from the tired tropes, exploring the human condition and pushing the boundaries of storytelling. They remind us that comics can be a true art form, far beyond the limits of superhero fantasies.
