It is definitely a different situation. Don’t get me wrong, I love Rollins and am glad she is coming back. However, the powers that be decided Rollins was leaving. It was not a choice that Kelly made so she was able to come back fairly easily. However, when Chris left, this was due to a contract dispute and Chris wanting to explore other roles. It took 10 years and the creation of a new show to convince him to return.
