See AllI Love K-Dramas, But I'd Never Recommend These 10 Shows To A Friend
Cheese in the Trap reportedly was good at first but dropped off once it started going off the source material. Save myself the headache when I read the reviews (was gonna watch it once or had finished, but was upset it didn't stay faithful to the story). Go read the manhwa instead.
McDonald's Reveals Epic Hatsune Miku Collaboration, But There's One Problem
I mean, this kinda makes sense since the collaboration doesn't seem to include any toys or merchandise. The main theme of the collaboration is Miku now being the temp voice of McDonald's as well as themed Shaka fries. Shaka fries aren't available in McDonald's worldwide, so it would be hard to bring it international. So seems like they went with an all or nothing approach to it.
Former Disney Star Acknowledges The Channel "Was Ahead Of The Curve" For Colorblind Casting & Diverse Movies 19 Years Ago
Absolutely loved Brenda Song growing up (and still do)! She was the only Asian/Southeast Asian rep at the time for me as a little Vietnamese girl, and I loved that she wasn't cast in stereotype roles. Suite Life for example, proved that by giving her a role as the dumb heiress, and made Maddie (Ashley Tisdale) the poor, down on her luck, smart one.
Meanwhile, I also loved Wendy Wu, though I acknowledge now as an adult that the movie was pretty cringe and did lean into some stereotypes, it was a great movie with great representation at the time.
Anyways, I'm so glad to see her back in the spotlight. She deserves the world!
