I've seen 6 of these 10 movies, and two of them (A Knight's Tale, and Stardust) are some of my all time favorite movies. That being said, A Knight's Tale is only a fantasy movie in absolute loosest sense of the word. Not everything set in medieval times is fantasy.

I'm so tired of them calling LaRusso's kick an illegal kick. Karate tournaments notoriously didn't have such rules as no face back then. The rules of that tournament very specifically were stated as anything above the waist.

Also, if you pay attention, five or six other points in the tournament are scored by face . Even Johnny's first points against Daniel are face . So, no it wasn't an illegal kick by any means.
