Clearly the articles author did no research whatsoever. The bogus backstory that contradicts Nani's established backstory from the animated film makes no realistic sense. Mainly because Nani could go to school in Hawaii for marine biology for free. There is zero reason she would have needed to give up Lilo and forsake ohana.

Could not agree more. The drow are far from the only race that were portrayed for decades as inherently evil. They are merely the most fleshed out example. There are several books as part of drizzt's story where all of orc and goblin kind are philosophically explored and expressed by the Gods to be inherently evil and unworthy of Mercy. Drizzt contests this because of his own nature in spite of this proclamation being laid down i believe via Cattie-Brie from the gods themselves. One of the major issues here is that people from The real World want to see themselves in fantasy races that are not meant to portray humans. It's great that you want to role play and be something else that is a large portion of the game but at the end of the day Drew, Elves, Orcs, Giants Trolls, and anything else are not, and are not meant to represent, humans.
