While Burgess is the obvious choice, I have a feeling it will be Atwater or Ruzek. For Atwater it could impact his friendship with Ruzek as now Atwater would be in a senior position over Ruzek. Ruzek being promoted to Detective would make for an interesting storyline with his fiance and future Wife Kim Burgess and Their adopted Daughter, it would also be interesting to see how Ruzek gets protective of Burgess especially if he makes Detective during the Wedding Episode.

in the Season Finale, Knight and Palmer never said they broke up. I wouldn't be surprised if we see in the Season premiere a opening scene where Knight and Palmer are having a long distance date night.
