Seems ironic. Sony wants to monopolize the anime industry but has people running the more integral parts of their machine that don't understand anime or the surrounding communities.

Which, their recent attempts (and subsequent issues) to acquire kadokawa has really made the market hold they're trying to dig for themselves even more obvious.
