You can’t be serious in your comparison of Aslan to Bart Simpson…. Even IF you remove all Christian themes from Narnia (which in itself would be lore breaking), Aslan is still male with a mane and a deep, powerful voice… Bart Simpson is a eternally a child and most children in animation are voiced by females… and always will be….

They always have to “put their mark” on things and in recent memory, that hasn’t worked out for any IP. Not sure why Hollywood execs keep g off on this crap. It’s like they’re anti-money… confusing….

Clearly having a female voice is the exact opposite of “manly”. It isn’t that difficult to understand. If Aslan is going to stay a male (as is canon), I fail to see the issue of casting a male actor for the voice of the character. I would like to see Chiwetel Ejiofor cast as Aslan. He has a deep, emotional, yet commanding voice.
