If they're doing the back and forth, they need to do eight episodes now and eight episodes in the fall. But they also have to commit to yearly seasons.

It's always funny when people make comments and articles like this. "I don't understand the logic, so there must be no logic." But there will be something else that you'll vehemently fight to push on others that don't understand why you're so invested. No one is required to get your approval on what they're allowed to think or be upset about. And based on the usual media response on stuff like this, this article is just a hit piece to try and shame the people that didn't like the story element since they're supposed to be sheep. And the fact that the backlash is huge again means that people like the author are the minority, but they can't let the masses be right. That would mean itting you don't actually know what audiences want or how to do your jobs.

It's possible they plan a recurring role for her, or she just doesn't want to play a fictional version of herself. Technically, she played a version of herself in Victorious. And playing a version of yourself leaves you open to scrutiny as to how much of it is real.

If they do take the form away, the simplest explanation is that it'll need to be sealed again by the old Namekian. Otherwise, some other way or reason that it gets locked and forgotten.
