Call me old fashioned, but I always prefered MJ for Peter and always will, partially because they were both put together by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, but because it always felt right to me because of the dynamics the characters had together.

After Stan ed I had stopped paying too much attention to what was going on. because he didnt get to have a say anymore. There is a reason why I liked the first recent Spiderman game as he gave them his blessing in it which was the best tribute to him in my mind.

I'm not saying other people cant write Peter Parker, I just think you shouldnt break what was good because of being bored of it. Woulda made more sense to have a different character with spiderman powers to me honestly go through the changed stuff instead. What do you think?
