See AllThe Leader's Controversial MCU Design Breaks A Rule That Defines Every Other Hulk
Actually the Abomination is another big "Hulk" character who cannot revert back to his human form
42 Years Later, Hulk & Thing’s Combined Form is Still One of Marvel’s Strongest Characters
I buying this graphic novel as a kid at my local comic book shop shortly after it was released. The book was published in 1987. That means the title would have only been 37 years old at the time this article was published.
I Can’t Believe The MCU Is Set To Give Us Evil Iron Man & Captain America Before It Makes The Hulk A Marvel Movie Villain
This is a good point as savage/ape-like Hulk was an actual (misunderstood) villain in his own comic book during the mid-80's.
10 Things From Hulk's Marvel Movie Appearances That Have Aged Poorly
No, Universal Studios has its own story about the name change that sounds much more plausible and it has nothing to do with homophobia. At the time the studio wanted the country to know that it was producing an adult themed show and not a kiddie one. They thought that the general public would assume that the show was for kids if they heard name alliteration for the character (Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Dafney Duck, Yosemite Sam, Woody Woodpecker, Peter Parker, Reed Richards), so they chose the name David instead.
10 Things From Hulk's Marvel Movie Appearances That Have Aged Poorly
One thing that has at least seemingly appeared to stop that was driving me up the wall was people and the media referring to the Avengers Hulk as Professor Hulk. No, that is NOT Profesor Hulk. It is smart Bruce Banner controlled Hulk from the early to mid-80's. Professor Hulk didn't appear until the early 90's and he was a merger between the intelligence and strength and personality of Bruce Banner, green Hulk, and gray Hulk. Since the gray Hulk has never appeared in any of the movies, Professor Hulk cannot exist. It looks like Marvel eventually caught the error and got the title of Smart Hulk out there. (BTW I was only a little kid back then but even as young as I was I still hated smart Hulk in favor of savage Hulk. There was a Hulk issue back in those days where smart Hulk was getting ready to fight all the superheroes in front of the White House when all of a sudden an army of flying saucer UFOs showed up and started attacking. The Hulk and all the other heroes started fighting the flying saucers until they were driven away. The Hulk was then hailed as a hero instead of a menace to society and carried off on the shoulders of the other heroes. I've always wondered if they got the idea of the final battle scene in the first Avengers movie from that issue.)
Why Clemenza Didn't Return For The Godfather Part II
I thought that the issue here was that he wanted double the pay he got in the first movie for less than half of that screen time.
