That show was a dumpster fire. They had a built-in fan base of about 90 million. Less than a minute into the first episode, it was obvious that it being a faithful adaptation was a lie. That thing was nothing that Jordan wrote, other than character and place names.

Fine, you can call it inspired by WoT. But this is not WoT. This is a cash-grab that has tarnished what is a great series. I can understand maybe waiting to introduce a character, but the basis of the story has been irrevocably altered. This no longer resembles WoT. It's yet another maudlin teenage/young adult drama with some fantasy paint on it. They keep shoe-horning sex scenes in there and to make sure they get the sex in, they have characters that are completely unrelated to their source characters and bizarre logic leaps that have people being over 3k years old because they weren't sealed. If you read the books, you would realize how far this departs from the source material.

I tried. I really did. I made it 4 episodes before my wife made me turn it off before my head exploded. It wasn't just bad, it was abysmal. They are destroying one of my favorite book series.
