Why The Equalizer Season 5 Didn’t End With A Cliffhanger Despite Surprise Cancelation Explained By Showrunner
I've never missed an episode. I will definitely miss this show. Glad the writers prepared for this possible outcome and wrapped up the character's storylines. So many shows are not so lucky. Shows get cancelled last minute and stories are left hanging. Not fair to the loyal fans watching and expecting some answers. A huge thanks to Latifah and the amazing cast and crew for five great seasons. It was a great ride for all of us! Hopefully husband Dante never gets the wife upset. He would probably get his you know what kicked. Now that would be spousal domestic violence on a whole new level.
Aimee Lou Wood Calls Out SNL For "Mean & Unfunny" White Lotus Season 3 Parody Sketch
The sketch was very funny. Anytime "SNL" can make fun of this guy and his family is well worth the watch! Sherman has apologized and sent flowers for the hurt feelings. Why? Is she really sorry or is this just damage control? "SNL" and Sherman had to have known when they were filming there would be backlash for the meanness portrayed. I somewhat disagree. The skit in general was funny but mean to Wood. No problem when the show makes fun of what someone says or does. When the joke is about someone's looks or flaws that's crossing a line. I don't think flowers can make it all better. People in general, and you know who you are, who make fun of someone's appearance and flaws have a dysmorphia in their character that you really can't see on the outside.
Why MASH Ended Up Needing Two Different Pilot Episodes
"Divided We Stand" is a very funny episode. The show grew stale way before 1983. Glad the show stuck around in those early years in order to produce some very funny comedy. I saw the finale when it originally aired. I needed a box of tissue because it was so depressing and frankly, just bad. The show fought to survive in those early years but didn't know when to exit the stage gracefully when it was time. A real shame.
10 Movies From The 1970s That Are Still Considered Masterpieces Today
I would give Robert Redford's "Jeremiah Johnson" and Burt Reynold's "The Longest Yard" honorary status for 70's movie masterpieces. Two of the all- time classics in any era. What was funny about "Jaws" is if you went to a beach in the summer of '75 very few people went into the water. We were all kind of freaked out for a little while at least.
This 2003 Show That Didn't Happen Is The Closest CBS Has Come To Rebooting MASH
I think a new show about a MASH unit in Vietnam or Korea could be a great thing. Would need to be a cable show, or better yet streaming. No restrictions. Then we would really get a taste of the horrors of war.
Harry’s Confession About Brian Moser Doesn’t Make Any Sense In Dexter: Original Sin Season 1 Episode 9
It makes no sense Harry would not know Brian, if released, would be looking for him and Dexter. The fact this guy has Dexter's tendencies for blood would make him want to know even more where this guy was at all times. He has no idea where this guy was and what he was doing? There definitely is a plot hole here people. The only thing that would make sense would be Brian being a part of Harry's eventual death.
10 Sitcoms That Have Aged Poorly
No mention of MASH? Hawkeye Pierce's belief that the nurses are playtoys who's only purpose is to satisfy his own needs and pleasures both in and out of the operating room. Very creepy. In the episode "Edwina" the writers wanted the camp's assistance in helping a fat nurse to "hook up" so to speak with a man because apparently a fat girl couldn't do that on her own. Thank Swit for refusing to do the episode unless the premise was changed. The character became a klutzy nurse. When one watches the show today it really is shocking how women were degraded in many of those episodes and all for the sake of a "harmless" joke.
Why Rebecca Is Still Going After Cooper In Landman, Despite Reaching A Settlement (Could He Really Have Caused The Explosion?!)
Probably a good point. I guess the morale of this story is don't be a num nut and pound on a valve with a wrench which will more than likely cause a gas leak and blow you and everyone else around you into a kind of like shishkabobs. Then the guy who survives gets to do the things with your wife that you used to do. Not a bad deal for Coop if you really think about it.
Michael Corleone's Worst Crime In The Godfather Movies Was Something Marlon Brando's Vito Would Never Have Done
Not sure the writer of this story understands the plot points of this movie. Fredo's murder was necessary. Michael sent a message that no one is safe from betrayal. Never believed for a second he felt " guilty' for the murder. He did what he knew was necessary period. One of the many illogical plot points in three. He was not a "good guy" who somehow wanted to change his ways and atone for his past sins. He was a guy who thought he could be different from the family but when he got a taste of power his true colors showed. He was never really a good guy to begin with. Men like him can't be turned from the " dark side". He was a lousy husband and father but a great don. Once again...period.
Sofia Coppola Secretly Played Another Character In The Godfather 18 Years Before Part III
Production should've never have started until they had an experienced actress for the part of Mary. One of the all-time head scratchers but this movie had so many problems from the beginning from casting, story, and Pacino's unbelievably bad performance. She never should've been put in that position. It's a tragedy in this trilogy we have two of the all- time greatest movies ever made and one big clunker. Not the ending we expected.
Landman Season 1 Ending Explained: What's Next For Tommy After Those Twists?
Because co-creator Christian Wallace has confirmed that poor Monty has gone to those big, beautiful oil rigs in the sky and Hamm has talked about his character's demise so I think that about sums it up.
Landman Season 1 Ending Explained: What's Next For Tommy After Those Twists?
He sure did die! A flat-line on the monitor and everyone crying by his bed and on him is a sure giveaway I think. Very good finale. No way anything gets sold. I think we are going to see a more ruthless and cunning Cami next season. She just might have a real purpose in this show if we get a season 2. C'mon Paramount +! Don't get Mr. Sheridan upset. Just make it official so we can look forward to the next chapter.
5 Things That Need To Happen In Landman's Season 1 Finale
Based on Tommy's reaction I don't think Monty is headed for God's beautiful oil fields in the sky just yet. A setback yes, but death no. Not sure why Moore is in this show. They could've grabbed a wanna be actress from a bar or restaurant and she would've done equally well as Monty's wife. Not sure if Sheridan has big plans for her but as of now it's puzzling. The only character who's had any "growth" is Cooper. Looking forward to seeing what's in store for him. A big no.. As long as Tommy works in oil he will never be "free". Not possible . Should be an interesting finale and hopefully we get a season 2.
Why Robert DuVall's Tom Hagen Didn't Return In The Godfather Part III
He wanted a salary equal to what Pacino was getting. Very fair in my opinion. This movie was a disaster. They had problems with the story and script before production and it showed. What's sad is Coppola has itted he only did the movie because he needed money and not for creative reasons. I still don't understand why Pacino played Michael the way he did. That was NOT Michael Corleone. Unbelievable. The fact Winona Ryder pulled out due to illness and Rebecca Schafer was murdered meant they had no real actress for Mary. This movie was cursed from the beginning. Wish it had never been made. Not sure Duvall could've saved this mess but we'll never know.
Landman Season 1, Episode 9 Ending Explained: What Tommy Seeing The Coyote Means
Jerry Jones did a great job. Impressive playing himself but still had to do a little acting for the camera. Always will be a big fan of his because he was instrumental in moving the Rams out of that hell hole in St. Louis and back to their rightful home here in L..A. Has to be Monty unless they plan on throwing us a curveball. Looking forward to finale. We need to have some nudity from these women. Would add so much to the storylines lol. It is Paramount + and not Disney +.
Why Rebecca Is Still Going After Cooper In Landman, Despite Reaching A Settlement (Could He Really Have Caused The Explosion?!)
A high powered lawyer like Rebecca does not like being embarrassed and being chewed out by her boss for being out-smarted. It's very good writing and an interesting story-line. Is it possible Coop did something to cause the explosion? Maybe? She is one of these characters you definitely would not want to turn your back on. She would be looking for blood..Props to Sheridan for giving us some compelling characters in this show.
Landman's Controversial Ainsley Storyline Defended By Taylor Sheridan Show Star: "Not My Job To Tell People How To Interpret My Character"
That scene from the premiere episode was so funny without nothing having to be said from Billy Bob's Tommy. These are the times we live in. Get a grip people. As a father I can relate to Tommy because I'd probably have the same reaction if I heard my kid's response from that question. The recent episode of her spending time in the senior home was touching. How many of us are willing to do that and make a senior's day a little better ? Ainsley is turning out to be an interesting character indeed. If she were a lollipops and rainbows kind of a girl who would watch?
Yellowstone Season 5, Episode 14 Review: Taylor Sheridan's Predictable Finale Is A Devastating Emotional Letdown
I would've rather seen Jamie getting arrested and taking responsibility for the murder. Spending every day in prison, being Bubba's girlfriend is punishment someone like Beth would've enjoyed. Maybe in the new series a prison escape and that could've set up Jamie's return for vengeance. Someone here posting is a little confused about the so called "circumstances".What circumstances? There are actors working in different roles on different shows so doesn't sound like these people don't enjoy working with Sheridan. I believe Grimes comment about the last half of season being much easier to film. Costner is one of these actors who can't just keep his mouth shut and take one for the team. All this about what's in his contract is b.s. And I'll take some of that land if you can sell it to me at $1.25 an acre. I really can't afford the taxes.
Yellowstone Star Warns Not Everyone Will Be Satisfied With Likely Series Finale: "Large Part Will Just Be Mad"
Hey Nope. Costner threw a fit because he didn't get to control the narrative. Sheridan told him to go do something to himself that unfortunately I can't explain here but I think you get where I'm going. Who was in the last few episodes ? I hope you know it wasn't Costner.Am I now living in this "alternative reality" of which you speak of. Nothing I've said is out of context. I'm pretty sure that's how it all went down.
Yellowstone Star Warns Not Everyone Will Be Satisfied With Likely Series Finale: "Large Part Will Just Be Mad"
The Paramount Network may soon be named The Taylor Sheridan Network. What's crazy is there is more, and I mean a lot more coming from this man. Brilliant writer and an ok actor. Not great, but ok. John Dutton didn't deserve to die by a toilet but it is what it is. These two control freaks butted heads but apparently Sheridan won by TKO. He got the last word and laugh by that death and the Summer conclusion. A satisfying ending. Not the one we deserved but still worthy. Who's to blame? Hmm...Not Sheridan because he wrote, directed and acted in finale. He didn't say he was too busy and unfortunately couldn't show up for work when everybody else did. A show only gets one take to do finale perfectly and Costner blew it big-time.
