Definitely. Not only are creative constructs key to the fun of Green Lantern, but the aesthetic of the constructs is far better than the ones in the Ryan Reynolds movie. The 2011 movie had the right casting choices but poorly thought-out visuals.
I'd have to go with Nope. I think it's simultaneously his biggest and most subtle piece, with some of the most horrifying scenes I've seen in movies. Yet all the while it maintains the charm and humor of everything else he's written.
Plastic Man is a great idea; I've been hoping to see him in live-action for ages. Or Elongated Man, if they want to take a different route. Seeing someone like Ted Kord's Blue Beetle might be fun, especially if the DCU's primary Blue Beetle is going to be Jaime Reyes.
While I'd love to see some scenes of Superman kicking butt, I think it's fine for him to be relatively weakened aside from rare moments. Consider Justice League Unlimited's finale, for example, where Superman has his monologue about letting loose against Darkseid. Superman being extensively overpowered doesn't work as well in visual media as it does in comics, especially when attempting to suggest a need for other heroes. Plus, it makes the moments where he goes god-mode way more exciting.
I hadn't thought about this or seen this fan cast before, but I think it's a fantastic choice. I'd love to see him play a version of Cyclops that has a bit more swagger and isn't entirely overshadowed by Wolverine, which I think he'd be perfectly capable of.
I'd have to go with Batman Begins. I've always believed that the movie is drastically overshadowed by The Dark Knight, which has many virtues of its own and sets up a phenomenal trilogy. Nolan did a terrific job at making Batman's origins somewhat believable in a realistic setting.
Tough question! Let's go with the original lineup of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Iceman, and Angel. Though personally, I'd cheat and throw Wolverine in too to shake everything up.
Dune Awakening is definitely up there for me! Though my main concern is that Arrakis isn't going to be the most aesthetically appealing setting, and that I'll get tired of it. I'm also hyped for Elden Ring Nightreign, even though I'm terrible at Souls games and it's going to bring me primarily suffering.
I wouldn't consider myself a GTA expert by any means, but co-op sounds like it would be pretty fun. I really enjoyed the multiplayer in GTA V, so offering more of that interactive experience in the campaign could be really exciting. I don't see any way that it's strictly co-op, though. That would be insane.
Almost certainly, but I suppose that's not inherently a bad thing. I'd rather they acknowledge the disappointment and throw us a bone than just ignore the fan appeal entirely. They know the demand as well as we do, and it seems to me that they're trying to meet it!
I'd love to see Adria Arjona or Eiza González take on the role. I think either one of them would be fantastic. Alexandra Daddario is appealing, but I feel like she's well-known enough to audiences that it would take away some of the mystique in the character.
Sinners was one of my favorite theatrical experiences in recent memory. Visuals and performances aside, music and sound are such an enormous part of what makes this film so enjoyable, and hearing it with movie theater speakers allows that level of immersion. It's a fantastic movie, and I hope people continue to see it on the big screen!
Putting a Blackfyre on the Iron Throne would more or less be a Targaryen restoration. Even if we're to assume Aegon is a Blackfyre, he will be using the name Targaryen, and Varys/Illyrio will campaign for him as such because it's a more distinguished political name in Westeros. Varys believes a Targaryen (in name only, if need be) on the Iron Throne will bring stability to the realm.
Lewis Pullman is really fun, and I can't wait to see him as Sentry. But yes, I agree, Yelena is fun, and Florence Pugh is one of the most exciting movie stars on the planet. I can't wait to see what she has in store leading a Marvel movie cast
Fun question! I love Nick Cave outside of Peaky Blinders, but every time "Red Right Hand" comes on, I picture Thomas Shelby walking down the cobbled streets of Birmingham in a peaked cap. I think media has the potential to ruin songs for me, like "Stuck in the Middle With You" in Reservoir Dogs, but Peaky Blinders embellished Nick Cave.
Yes, definitely. I think any use of unspecified AI media runs that danger, but I certainly don't want it playing any role in the film world. We can still spot that they're fake now, but it's going to become increasingly difficult, and that takes away much of the heart of filmmaking to me.
That's definitely a star-studded cast, but I feel like there's still so much to explore with the current Alien franchise. Prometheus left so many potential angles to explore, and it seems like Alien: Romulus and Alien: Earth are just the start of expanding into that deeper lore. I'm already so excited about the current slate!

Are Green Lantern's powers in the Superman movie trailer what Ryan Reynolds' movie was missing?
Definitely. Not only are creative constructs key to the fun of Green Lantern, but the aesthetic of the constructs is far better than the ones in the Ryan Reynolds movie. The 2011 movie had the right casting choices but poorly thought-out visuals.
Jordan Peele's horror movies ranked - which film is his best?

Who else should the DCU's Justice Gang?
Plastic Man is a great idea; I've been hoping to see him in live-action for ages. Or Elongated Man, if they want to take a different route. Seeing someone like Ted Kord's Blue Beetle might be fun, especially if the DCU's primary Blue Beetle is going to be Jaime Reyes.
Does David Corenswet's Superman look weak in DC's new Superman movie?
While I'd love to see some scenes of Superman kicking butt, I think it's fine for him to be relatively weakened aside from rare moments. Should The White Lotus season 3's Patrick Schwarzenegger play the MCU's Cyclops?
I hadn't thought about this or seen this fan cast before, but I think it's a fantastic choice. I'd love to see him play a version of Cyclops that has a bit more swagger and isn't entirely overshadowed by Wolverine, which I think he'd be perfectly capable of.
Which live-action superhero has the best origin story?

What video games are you most excited for in 2025?

Many think the GTA 6 trailer is teasing co-op play, and if this is the case, would you still be interested?
I wouldn't consider myself a GTA expert by any means, but co-op sounds like it would be pretty fun. I really enjoyed the multiplayer in GTA V, so offering more of that interactive experience in the campaign could be really exciting. I don't see any way that it's strictly co-op, though. Did Rockstar Games release the GTA VI trailer to distract us from the delay?
Almost certainly, but I suppose that's not inherently a bad thing. I'd rather they acknowledge the disappointment and throw us a bone than just ignore the fan appeal entirely. They know the demand as well as we do, and it seems to me that they're trying to meet it!
Who is the most popular Wonder Woman candidate for James Gunn's DC Universe?
I'd love to see Adria Arjona or Eiza González take on the role. I think either one of them would be fantastic. Alexandra Daddario is appealing, but I feel like she's well-known enough to audiences that it would take away some of the mystique in the character.

Which song will you always associate with a TV show?
