As others have pointed out, the quadrant system is specific to our galaxy, not the entire universe. Your title also contradicts modern cosmology. The universe, while unbounded, is not infinite. Can't be, since it has been expanding for a finite time. I realize this isn't universally :) accepted, but it is the best model we have
