I understand the ardent book fans giving different names to the show but ultimately they are also forgetting that this show is introducing the books to a whole new generation and a lot of other people who would now read the books because they got introduced through the show. As long a show isn't terribly done in of execution and can hold the interest of a new viewer, it has done it's primary job which is to introduce people to the existence of such a fantastic series of books. I find it a bit funny that people expect or believe that a show will influence the philosophy of people, I doubt any such serious interpretation happens in a TV show and if there is someone out there who is serious about it seeing the show, I am sure they will certainly go and read the books before forming their philosophy.
