The part about Citizen Kane and Casablanca being artistic "films" as opposed to entertaining "movies" is a little misleading to people who havent seen those and are now gonna think they're difficult arthouse features.

Sure, I'll give you Citizen Kane to an extent. It's a very technical film, although still very entertaining. Kinda like Oppenheimer. Is Oppenheimer not a movie?

But Casablanca, no way. This is one of the most thrilling films I've ever seen. There's nothing artsy, mysterious or boring about it, and the only reason I would imagine anyone wouldn't enjoy it is if they're the (awful) type of person who has extreme prejudice against black and white films. If you're this type of person, and especially if you're teaching your children to be the same way, please go live under the sea.

Pretty accurate list. I always forget about On the Waterfront I guess because the main character isn't a gangster but it certainly is a gangster film.

Godfather 2 > Godfather 1

Hold on. You left off Nina Simone. That's an automatic re-do. Delete this list and try again.

Edit: Patsy Cline certainly deserves to be here too. Especially egregious when you have the likes of Beyonce and Kelly Clarkson on the list.

Final edit: It's really not that bad a list though. This is probably how I'd do it:

Wild. So you went one per actor. Fair I suppose. Unless the order is supposed to be something other than "worst to best" it's silly to have The Godfather at anything other than #1 (although part 2 is slightly superior and has the bigger, better Pacino performance).
