With all the self control I have, honestly I feel horrible for Adnan. Tiger Lily you can't be this nieve! This guy loves you so much! You should have researched your future husbands traditions and beliefs before getting married. This isn't about control, it's about how he has been raised and his religious beliefs. Yes he should have research American way of life too. You two are both responsible for the getting married and not fully understanding each others way of life. However your life is far less then a typical of an american girl. Sorry but I would totally cover my hair for my husband if I chose to marry him especially when we are suppose to honor our partner...American or not it's about respect. To take as long as you do to get ready is absolutely riduculous. You are pretty enough to get ready in ten minutes.
