See AllI Was Wrong About Tears Of The Kingdom And It Makes Me Worried About The Switch 2
I love articles like this:
"Nintendo needs to not do this on the switch 2." Says a person who hasn't made anything, let alone groundbreaking and selling millions of copies and revered as the greatest of all time in potential past and future games. TOTK was amazing! The only criticisms that can be made are based on nostalgia or personal bias.
For example: I wish we could have seen the guardians in this game. They were terrifying. Especially when that anxious piano music started playing and you see a red dot parked on your forehead. However, they replaced the guardians with other terrifying creatures, and a terrifying complete underworld map to get your blood pumping.
I am not a nintendo fanboy. I think largely the switch is made for shovelware and bloatware games that no one wants to play to make it seem like their library is full. So, they can produce 8-12 good to not-so-good AAA games for the life cycles of the console. Plus hardware issues, including stick drift which they need to be sued for. But when I see people write articles after the fact, when the memory of playing it is long gone. It just smells of "I can do it better, but never have," whining, and "Pick me too," attitude.
