Guys am I the only one who has tried Frieren (on several occasions) but I just can't catch on to it. I don't feel it in my bones iykwim. I usually watch anime and catch on quickly but this one... I've tried 4 times to watch it (I restarted the whole season) but still no luck

Whether Solo leveling is good to you or not, it doesn't matter. Them other folks like it more because they genuinely think it's good. Fights and all that nonsense matter to them more than a side character's character development.
