The Young Avengers Are Great, But I Know Why Marvel's Champions Are Even Better
There were so many Champions I left out of this list, but with ten spots, these are the heroes that I that I think best represent the heart and soul of what the Champions stand for. Individuality, representation, and being better than the heroes that came before them.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch Is Back, And Now the Team Is Linking Up With an Iconic Jedi
This takes place before The Bad Batch TV show, so Tech is in it, and he is very much alive.
Marvel Is Ready to Revive One of Its Most Underrated Teams And It Has Us All Asking: Who Are the Champions?
You're right, it should have said the previous Champions, though the 1970's team was technically called the "Champions of Los Angeles." They were the first west-coast based superhero team, and have no connection to Ms. Marvel's Champions besides sharing part of their name. This team of New Champions copied their name from the 2016 Champions, and even share the same slogan "change the world." And as the article says, both of these newer Champions teams will crossover in issue three of New Champions. So yes, there should be some respect put on the Champions of Los Angeles' name, but it was not due to lousy research that they were not mentioned in the article, they're just not related.
Star Wars Is Finally Ready to Explore Kylo Ren's "Dark" Time Following The Last Jedi: Here's Why
Sorry about that, I don't know why that happened. As the author of the article, I'd love to hear your discussion point as long as it's respectful.
Star Wars Confirms Why Leia Didn't Belong in Luke Skywalker's Jedi Order (She'd Have Been Corrupted)
It's kind of a mix of both. The Jedi avoided certain feelings, fear, anger, hate, which they believed were paths to the dark side. Luke Skywalker rebuilt the same Jedi Order with the same confines as the old one, instead of building something new. Luke suppressed his emotions, which led him to blow up at Ben Solo, in a similar fashion that Anakin Skywalker blew up when he turned to the dark side. It's because of Princess Leia's acknowledgement and acceptance of her anger that she wouldn't fit in with Luke's Jedi Order with the rules he had in place, but if she were still alive, she may have fit better in Rey's new Order. Hopefully Rey can discover how to balance feeling ones emotions without falling to the dark side before she starts training the next generation of Jedi. Hope this helps!
Star Wars Finally Explains Why the Empire Could Never Survive Without Emperor Palpatine at the Wheel
Of course Palpatine didn't want it to outlive him, he had an entire contingency plan to destroy the Empire if it did, not only with Operation: Cinder, but also the entire Battle of Jakku was meant to destroy both the New Republic and the Empire; that's what the entire Aftermath series is about. The point of this article and what this comic series is proving, is even without Palpatine's contingency, the Empire would not survive anyway. It was build to have one powerful leader, and if Adelhard is hoping to survive, he needs to become a powerful leader, or else he will fall like Palpatine did.
Star Wars Introduces Some New Dark Side s, And They Have a Major Advantage Over the Sith
The article is about the Acolytes of the Beyond, and the advantage they have in numbers over the Sith during the time of the Empire, as they are becoming more of a threat to Luke Skywalker than Vader and the Emperor were. Once Vader and the Emperor died, the Sith became extinct in the galaxy, but other dark side worshipers like the Acolytes of the Beyond remained. The Acolytes just keep coming and are not occupied with running an Empire, causing Luke to be overwhelmed.
Marvel Just Answered a Pesky Wolverine Plot Hole With Help From the TSA. No, Seriously
Sadly for Wolverine, that doesn't apply to adamantium, as both Logan and Laura have gone through metal detectors now, and set them off. That's why these medical excuses are helpful.
X-Men Reveals a Major Death and Epic Redesign Are Coming For the Marvel Team
Xavier usually has a very low-level telekinetic ability, being able to disrupt technological equipment or pull small items towards him with a gesture, though he has recently fully awakened his telekinetic abilities and refined them to the point of being able to rip people to pieces with his telekinesis. And yes, this is during the Fall of X in the Krakoan Age.
Marvel Ushers In a New Generation With Help From the "Core Four" Heroes
I agree, I'm excited for this series mostly because of the previous Champions team, which is my favourite Marvel team, but Foxe's statement that he's currently writing stories for the original Champions characters gives me high hopes.
After 23 Years, One of X-Men's Most Powerful Heroes Has Lost Their Powers
I would say that Empath and his crew are the ones betraying the mutants, and Ms. Marvel and Sophie Cuckoo are fighting for a better mutant future.
Star Wars Confirms Why Leia Didn't Belong in Luke Skywalker's Jedi Order (She'd Have Been Corrupted)
I actually agree with you. I think she has an incredible control over her emotions, which is why she insists on feeling everything she's feeling, letting it out instead of bottling it up. The Jedi were all about avoiding certain emotions, a flaw that Luke was taught and carried on to his Jedi Order, which is why it ended up failing. I think Rey will fix that mistake with her new Jedi Order. It's not that Leia can't get over her anger, she believes her feelings are valid, and wants to feel her anger and hatred towards all the things her father has done; she did just find out Vader was her father after all. I'm sure she will overcome those feelings eventually, but by letting it out, not by pushing it down. She found a way, but it doesn't align with the Jedi way, which is why she wouldn't fit with Luke's idea of a new Jedi Order.
Star Wars Confirms Why Leia Didn't Belong in Luke Skywalker's Jedi Order (She'd Have Been Corrupted)
This comic is canon, as decided by the Lucasfilm Story Group. As for what's seen on screen, Luke trains Leia in the ways of the force after Luke's insisting as seen in The Rise of Skywalker, but she realizes she's not fit to be a Jedi and returns to her political life, which is why she is back with the New Republic and Resistance in the sequel trilogy, and also why she is able to use the force in The Last Jedi. Leia was trained in the force, but she never became a Jedi.
Star Wars Confirms Why Leia Didn't Belong in Luke Skywalker's Jedi Order (She'd Have Been Corrupted)
Yoda didn't fry the Jedi texts, Rey had them, and he knew that. In The Last Jedi, Yoda says that there is nothing in there that the girl Rey does not already posses, implying that she possesses the Jedi texts, and that she will continue the Jedi Order. At the end of the movie, the texts are seen in the Millennium Falcon, and Rey is seen studying them in The Rise of Skywalker. She even uses them to find the Sith wayfinder and get to Exegol. Yoda fried the tree knowing the texts weren't in there, but as a symbol to Luke to let go of the past and move forward, so he could forgive himself for his failure with Kylo Ren, and help the Resistance when they needed him.
Star Wars Finally Confirms The Purpose of Luke Skywalker's Last Jedi Com (And Actually Shows How He Found It)
You're right! Disney owns Star Wars.
Star Wars Finally Confirms The Purpose of Luke Skywalker's Last Jedi Com (And Actually Shows How He Found It)
That’s what the article says. “After making its vague debut in Star Wars: Battlefront II”. Vague because Luke asks if he can have it, but nothing else about it is explained within the game.
Star Wars Officially Confirms the Inquisitors Survived Beyond Return of the Jedi (& They Have a New Member)
Yeah, after reading #4, I'm a little disappointed with that reveal too; I was really hoping it would be Marrok. You're right about Luke calling her a pretender, but I'm not sure if she is force sensitive or not, though she doesn't seem to display any evident powers.
Darth Vader Finally Has the Sith Armor He's Always Deserved
Yes, I agree his power level can be measured against other powerful beings in the galaxy, hence why the article says he is one of the most powerful beings in the galaxy. In The Phantom Menace though, when Qui-Gon tests Anakin's blood, Obi-Wan says Anakin's midi-chlorian count is off the charts, even higher than Yoda's. Vader's power has only increased since then, and I don't think the charts have gotten any bigger. Therefore being immeasurable.
Darth Vader Finally Has the Sith Armor He's Always Deserved
It is pictured in the article with a few pictures in a slideshow. You can see him wearing it, building it, using it, and being overpowered by it.
