See AllForget Goku, DC Believes Superman's Dragon Ball Rival Is the Last Person You'd Expect
Not feeling this. I get what's being discussed but Gohan and Superman as rivals means they'll never get serious in battle together cuz they're "too" similar. Like a Ken vs Ryu discussion, we left the chat
I Always Thought Star Trek: Voyager Made A Mistake With A Character We Never Saw Before
Voyager was riddled with these unknowns who mattered but only to fill the story. I guess it was a direction that seemed like a good idea at the time given that Voyager was the studio going back to self contained episodes unlike DS9 (shakes fist at Berman). Missed opportunity to have the Fandom niche around Kim Rhodes on this - which is ironic because Supernatural kinda learned from this mistake and gave us Jodie Mills and other characters we could better connect with. Ensign Ballard's backstory was better than what we actually saw, a crash out of a character we only heard about concurrently but I'm thinking that was the point, her rebirth after death mattered more than her being stuck nameless in the Delta quadrant, her alien father was completely distraught the entire episode. I guess the concept was wasted on us from a cultural standpoint.
I'm So Happy Resident Alien Season 4 Has Fixed Something That Frustrated Me With Season 3
Short format is best. People are too greedy and this is why season 2 drags. Find the sweet spot and stick with it, we're in the streaming age now. I'm glad season 4 is upon us.
If Star Trek: Legacy Happens, It Should Bring Back This Borg Replacement Villain The Franchise Forgot About
Seth McFarlane already fleshed a version of this out in The Orville with actual Star Trek creative minds. Make it more political and or tie it into Strange New Worlds somehow because we already know the matter will eventually be resolved, it just needs a satisfying but unpredictable storyline.
After RDJ's Announced Return As Doctor Doom, The MCU Has No Excuse Not To Cast Michael B Jordan In His Childhood Dream Marvel Role
If they produce it, I will watch it but I agree with another commenter, he should play a young N'Jobu or someone from that branch of the family past or future pulled out of time but not T'Challa. Someone new should assume the role with no meta strings mudding the waters. I love MBJ but he missed the bus on this
No One Has Talked About The Real Reason Why The Supernatural Winchesters Spinoff Failed
Yeah, I agree with half the article and just found out John Winchester's bad father stigma to the fans overshadows the exact point of it shaping his character - a nice guy opts out of the fight and Mary and John are not nice guys - I thought it was clear you needed a few cans short of a 6 pack to choose hunting as a life - but in real life, legends overshadow the person they're about so it is what it is. The show does too much too quickly and it's jarring to see the Winchesters hitting the ground running when the story of them back then is different in our heads. It being set in an alternate reality makes even less sense especially if it's a backdoor workaround to keep the series of established events straight. The time to make a spinoff about Mary and John was directly after Dean went back in time the second time and through when they discovered the Men of Letters run when they could tie it all together. Showrunners gotta know when they missed the boat and they definitely missed the boat here. World building can't be an afterthought 15 seasons later and like the article says, they already ran and resolved their spin-off material within the show
