The man is not coming out of the grocery store to the a surprise of an alligator being there, yet again. The alligator belongs to the man, and if you notice the leash in his mouth and the dog at the other door you'll realize the man is talking to his alligator, who keeps eating the dogs on the leashes while his owner is shopping inside.
