There is NOTHING in the Katen Kyokotsu's design that implies any filler-arc is canon. It only shows that the design-team for the anime consulted Kubo before creating a form for Shunsui's Zanpakutoh-Spirit to avoid any clashes for future-reveals in the manga🙄
