To add to the Dany thing, another factor people forget about in the books is Tyrion. In the books he has transformed into a much more bitter and angry person, who basically wants every Lannister (including Jaime) dead. So if he does become Dany's hand, he's gonna be a much more aggressive, war-mongering voice in her ear than in the show.
