I am an avid Stephen King fan. And yes almost every short store or novel has been a movie at one time or another. There have been a couple remakes of the originals and for instance Firestarer was an 80s movie and then the 2022, It was 80s as well and remade a few years ago, Carrie and Pet Cemetery was done like that too.
