Yes but I was not encouraged by the initial foray into Maura Tierney's venture into this magnificent show but as episodes evolved,she is presenting herself as a solid character. Her mentioned " dour" demeanor is one of a cop self raised from rookie to the tough but seemingly fair venture into her current leader attitude which is so ever slightly warming , realistically to lukewarm.
