Well, the likelihood of a cosmic-centric team being included in an Earth-based story is pretty low no matter how you look at it.

I'd never have expected to see the GotG in Avengers: Doomsday. Not unless/until those events became a threat to the greater galaxy.

If Star-Lord's "entrepreneurial artifact appropriations" hadn't crossed paths with Thanos and his goal with the Infinity Stones, then the GotG wouldn't have been on Earth for Infinity War and Endgame.

I'm also gonna throw Princess Bride in there. And, while there's no actual magic which should exclude it from the sword & sorcery subgenre, I'm going to add Flesh and Blood.

I'd also like to remove Krull. That should go into a separate sub category with Flash Gordon, and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, and Ice Pirates

Thanks to the Funko Pop toyline reveal, the MCU character that most rivals Sentry's reality warping abilities is about to make their appearance in Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Not Silver Surfer. Not Galactus. It's Franklin Richards.

His power IS reality manipulation. He manifests as Superman-like superhero because that's how he wants to see himself. He doesn't have super strength, or speed, or energy blasts inherently. He simply imagines/wills himself to have these things. Same as how he manifests as the Void. Once he imagines/wills someone is in the Void, they simply are. No spell, no effort; just reality. Sentry's limits are self-imposed.
