Not interested in AI or David's story... Alien is about Aliens vs Humans and that is what I've invested my time in and loved it. There is a film about AI called IRobot. Not saying that Prometheus or Covenant wasn't any good, but I don't class them as bonefide Alien films. Alien films are about the struggle to contain the Alien and it's drive to destroy everything. If you can't come up with new Alien story's but are relying on taking it down the AI route then it's no longer Alien and should be left until you can. Might not be everyone's thought process but it is mine.

I wish Scott would just leave this alone. Alien Romulas has proved that fans want that type of film not more covenant. Sometimes you have to let go and it's time Scott did just that.. If he makes another film for his trilogy ( he's already done 2 of them and they didn't go down well) chances are he could damage the brand as alien 4 did.
