Dune 2021in fact proves that Herbert's Dune novel is essentially unfilmable. So much is left out that it's hard to consider the movie as an adaptation of anything but the book summary.

The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress is an awesome material for a mini TV series with 8-10 episodes. I'd love to watch it. And the book itself is an excellent sci-fi book. I'd also love to see Fiasco by Stanislaw Lem ecranised as a major motion picture...
