I almost threw the book across the room when I got to the ending. It wasn't the fact that a nuclear bomb went off, it was because the literal hand of God came down to set it off. Talk about disappointing. What was the point of all the trials and tribulations of the protagonists if you're just going to have God just end the conflict like that.
