In order to get my parents to watch, we watching in English because they find subtitles distracting. My siblings and I prefer watching things in the original language and reading subtitles because we find the English voice acting for things can be annoying. I will say the voice acting was better this season and much of the lines were delivered with proper tone and inflection

That's why they are so smite happy when it comes to other creatures capture games. Look at the production cycle of Pokemon games, how many years before a new game comes out in a new region? Now look at the infamous palworld who can and will update their game with brand new content and monsters whenever they have it ready. Now the tables turn, because what happens when instead of us comparing a palworld creature to an existing pokemon design, suddenly that new pokemon that was released looks like a pal we have had for years. They would never let fans be part of the creative process because Pokemon is theirs and we can not possibly understand the complexity of the Pokemon world, back in the 90' when comics for the series came out there was a fan art section in each issue, fans have been dreaming up their own Pokemon forever and Nintendo doesn't want anything to do with it.

The only two finalist that really should be in the labor of love category are stardew and noman's sky. Both fit the description of the award much better as it is meant to celebrate a game that had been out for years and continues to get updated content despite being well past its debut. Elden ring gave us an expansion dlc which was paid, Baldurs Gate won GotY last year so it doesn't even fit into the "years" part of the description. As for Dota , I don't follow so idk what they offer but it's certainly more deserving than a game that is just barely a year old.

It won't work. The reason Dean didn't get to stay with Lisa was because fans were crazy and sent her hate mail. Notice at the end of season 15, we see Sam's son very clearly but the only glimpse we see of his wife is a blurry image of her in the distance once. The fans couldn't let them have a happy relationship on screen.
