Really bad take considering how much more travel is remaining in the game.

We still have to go great glacier, Wutai, underwater, to space, back to Junon, back to Midgar, to the crater, get washed up in Mideel, fight the WEAPONS, not even including what will likely be a huge side quest for KotR materia and other side content. And what purpose would the Highwind serve, especially after seeing the world from the Bronco? There's no way to contain that to a small linear game without players feeling completely hoodwinked after Rebirth. I'm guessing a 200+ hour platinum extravaganza.
