What gets me is when Dean breaks up with Rory the first time, because she doesn't say 'I love you' back to him. He had that narcissistic, controlling personality. Then when he cheated on Lindsey with Rory, he blamed Rory for everything. Granted, Rory didn't make the best choices in how she wanted to let Dean go, but Dean suffocated her. She may have wanted to love Dean, but she couldn't and didn't.
