Tombstone's Opening Scene Immediately Dispelled A Western Movie Myth In 1993
Netflix have a docu-drama out about the actual events, Wyatt's war on the cowboys. It goes in depth about how it was viewed in the papers across the US and how Western Union essentially funded Wyatt's war because the Cowboys were targeting stage coaches which is basically the spark that later turned into the fire which we all know as the shootout at the OK Corral. If you're anything like me which by your comment I assume you are I HIGHLY Recommend you check out the series on Netflix, I was shocked at how accurate Tombstone was, usually big budget movies are anything but accurate, once studios invest they want what will give them their money back they don't care how true the story is!
Kevin Costner’s Best Chance At Finishing Horizon Is Condensing It Into A Trilogy, Even If It Hurts The Story
I actually enjoyed the first chapter, I of course heard the bad reviews but it only caused me to go into it with low expectations which in the end left me thoroughly surprised. Sure it was slow, but I knew it was only the 1st quarter so to speak. I think a lot of nay sayers are upset with him essentially leaving Yellowstone because of this, no matter if he actually did or didn't that's what a lot of people think. Unfortunately the vast majority of our society now have Tik Tok brains and prefer a few minute video rather than sit and watch a potential masterpiece play out in what I assume is 12 hours if all are the same run time as the first.
With all the different studios and streaming platforms and the amount of people who actually enjoyed Chapter 1 of the saga I'm fairly confident the 4th and final chapter would have no issues finding a way to get released to those who want to see it.
Kevin is genuinely one of the best actors of film, he will be thought of in that light for many years to come, for Pete's sake let the man tell his story in the way it is intended to be told especially if it is already shot. I think he had earned that right.
