That was bigger than Dexter's Station, but at times non-fiction can be more terrifying than fiction. The officers were not "Serial Killers", but many were corrupt. Wikipedias "Rampart Scandal" page is a good summary of the late 1990's scandals in that Station when it finally hit the network news.
