The economic environment is such that close to 50% of IP might not survive 10 years. The last thing we need are media writers creating stories that have the potential to alienate the fan base. Star Trek’s strength is in its adherence to canon. Heck, Lower Decks uses it for its incredibly strong comedy writing. So with all due to respect, I’d STRONGLY encourage SR’s editors to give their heads a shake and don’t let anyone writer an article about a franchise - especially one so storied as Trek.
