I sort of agree with less Audry but I think she's a necessary evil. Look at the story from her point. She had a daughter who was a semi celebrity and now she's a waitress. Too many parents hang their hats on the success of their kids and it comes back to bite them. So how would it play out if Audrey was all peaches and cream towards Mandy's situation ?
Being antagonistic to Georgie is just her way of dealing with it. But Georgie is more than capable of holding his ground.
