Someone did'nt watch the Animatrix. The machines do not use the humans for power. They created their own form of fission/fusion for power. If you watch the Animatrix you see that they wanted to preserve humanity after the wars due to this being in their original programming and attempts for peace. But they saw humanity was willing to destroy the world and themselves to keep themselves dominant. This is worth a re-write to get the facts straight.
